Antenatal and Birth Support

What it costs

My Birth support package starts from £1,225.00 

If you live more than 7.5 miles away (ie a 15 mile trip) there will be an additional mileage charge for each journey: 

(Total round trip mileage - 15 miles) x 45p

A non-returnable deposit is payable to confirm my support in my diary.

Booking me as your doula to support you throughout your pregnancy will put me by your side from the day we sign our agreement until your baby is born, and then for some weeks after. Through a combination of in person, and digital communication methods, we can establish your hopes, dreams and fears for your unique and incredible journey.

 

You will benefit from my recent and ongoing experience of navigating local hospitals and birth provider teams, as well as my links with other local doulas, the Central Cheshire Maternity Voices Partnership, and other local support organisations such as Her-Place Charitable Trust, the Cheshire Home Birth Alliance, and Pregnancy, Baby and You.

 

With my support you'll develop a clear idea of your birth preferences and how they might apply to different birth scenarios, but most importantly you will be able to approach your birth confidently as the occasion requires.

What this looks like practically

We start with at least 2 antenatal appointments of around 2-3 hours in length. We'll use these to get to know each other, and will discuss your needs and expectations around your labour birth and parenting and we'll work on your birth preferences together. 

When you reach 38 weeks gestation and until your baby is born, I will be on-call for you. This means that at any time of day or night, you can call me to provide the support we will have agreed, as you need it through your labour. This support will be tailored to whatever suits you and your birth preferences.

If you need me to, for any reason I can also attend antenatal appointments with you.

Finally a week or two after your baby is born, I will visit you at home for catch up and a de-brief if you want it and any other support you might need
